Thanks for the great morning together. It was probably the
first time my daughter and I have communicated directly about
our relationship goals. What a great experience for both of
us in exploring these issues.
The overall experience was a wonderful mix of fun, learning,
exploring and relating not only to my daughter, but to other
moms as well. The wishing circle was very powerful.
Tonight reinforced for me what a lovely young woman my daughter
is growing to be. It added a breath and depth to our experience.
It was informal and did not put anyone on the spot.
It provided a place for her to get her ideas across to me.
It’s been one of my goals to play more. I like the
idea of playing games together. There is a language through
play that helps you to communicate and experience each other.
A different way to connect.
There is something very profound in the act of witnessing
each other. You get to be heard and others get to witness
that too.
I learned about my mom and built the trust between us and
learned what our strengths were. It was a lot of fun.
I spend time with my mom all the time, but this program made
me recognize the beauty of it all.
I loved the obstacle course the best, best, best!
I liked when we did the foam ball and had to get it in the
medal cup. It was challenging.
I learned about some of the other girls and mothers. It was
a lot of fun. I learned about my mother.
For those of you out there who think this is just another
program, you’re wrong. It’s exciting and very
enjoyable and you may learn things about yourself and your
mom that you never knew before.
The balloons and the wises were my favorite. Fun, fun, fun.
I liked how happy the environment was. It was fun and it wasn’t
like we HAVE to this and we HAVE to have fun.
I attended your session, “We Hate Sarah” this
last fall. Just wanted to say thanks for all the great ideas!
I have been using the lawyer game for classroom guidance and
the kids love it. They want me to keep bringing it! The games
you shared are easy to make, but so powerful.
Very original ideas. These games are very pertinent to schools
and I loved the visuals.
Excellent—very practical information.
Peggy has a strong understanding of the needs and issues
of pre-teen girls. She is warm, genuine, professional, and
engaging. Her program has been a big hit with both mom and
girls.
Peggy's ideas on helping girls understand/appreciate the
unique dynamics of relationships have been such a help to
me in my work as a school counselor. Students that I work
with are better able to identify problem-solving skills and
how their behaviors affect others. Peggy's ideas help to make
learning fun for students who are struggling with their peers.
